Solar terms you can use with confidence.
- kW: power
- The rate at which equipment produces or uses electricity. A 1 kW load operating for two hours uses 2 kWh.
- kWh: energy
- One kWh is commonly called one electricity unit. Use this number from your bill when comparing energy needs.
- kWp: rated panel capacity
- The modules’ combined nameplate rating under standard test conditions. It is not a promise of continuous output.
- Self-consumption and export
- Self-consumption is solar electricity used at your premises. Export is electricity sent to the grid; billing treatment depends on your local rules.
Your first installer conversation
Ask what the roof survey includes, which appliances will have backup, what each equipment model is and how annual generation has been estimated. Request a written list of exclusions and service responsibilities.
Try an energy-based sizing estimate and then take the inputs to a qualified designer. The calculator cannot assess a roof or select electrical equipment.
1 यूनिट = 1 kWh। 3 kW क्षमता का मतलब हर समय 3 यूनिट उत्पादन नहीं है; उत्पादन समय, मौसम और सिस्टम की स्थिति पर निर्भर करता है।
